Lethbridge yards produce more than the green cart takes, especially after a chinook has taken down branches and fence panels. Old fencing, torn-out decks, sod from a new patio and hot tubs are regular pickups.
Clean green waste is composted through the regional facility; treated lumber and mixed outdoor junk go to the landfill stream. The two are quoted separately so the clean load is cheaper.
